What types of audit does Capital Auditors Internacional carry out?
We perform statutory and voluntary financial audits of annual accounts, consolidated accounts audits, limited reviews, grant audits, expert reports, forensic audits, financial due diligence and audits under international frameworks such as IFRS, USGAAP and German GAAP.
When is an audit mandatory for a company?
In Spain, an audit is mandatory when a company meets at least two of the following three criteria for two consecutive years: total assets exceeding €2.85 million, net turnover exceeding €5.7 million, or an average of more than 50 employees. It is also mandatory for entities receiving public grants or procurement contracts exceeding €600,000 that represent more than 50% of annual net turnover.
What is a limited review and when is it advisable?
A limited review is an assurance service that sits between a full statutory audit and an internal review. Analytical procedures are applied to the financial statements and a conclusion with limited assurance is issued. It is advisable for companies not legally required to have a full audit but wishing to provide greater reliability to their financial information for banks, investors or partners.
